What is an Intellivision?

It is a video game system that was used by the cave men.

The Intellivision was made by Mattel to compete with Atari. It has two hard wired controllers, a 12 button keypad like a phone has, two button on the side of the controllers, and a 16 directional disc that you spin to replace the arrow pad you find on today's consoles. The system had better graphics than Atari, but never gained popularity. The Intellivision was the first console that generated voices, had a musical keyboard accessory, and downloadable games (Play cable). When it was released, they were going to release a keyboard component, turning the console into a computer, but it was never released and instead Mattel released a less expensive version known as the entertainment computer system.

It's an old game console that was out way before you ever heard of anything like Nintendo.
