sharing internet between a PC and a mac?

i have a PC running windows XP that gets the internet through wifi, and a mac running os x 10.2 with no internet access. i connected the PC and the mac with an ethernet cable. i set up a network bridge between my wifi card and my ethernet on the PC, but i'm not sure if that would help. i want the mac to be able to access the internet through the ethernet cable through the PC. how can i do this?

Update:

i need a crossover cable? :(. i got this standard cable at a flea market. it wouldn't even be worth it to buy a crossover cable long enough to link them. no, this mac doesn't have wifi. it's one of the old G3s, from like 1998. but i got OS X running on it.

You need a cross over cable, not a regular network cable.

Also don't use briding, that will disable the internet on the Windows machine. Instead, right click the wired connection and then sharing tab, then share it.

Btw if you ask questions about Macs you get all the stupid mac fan responses you see above this...

I thought All MAC's have built-in wireless connection, why don't you use that to connection to your wifi?..

Obviously yours don't then the above answer is correct, just get a crossover cable and enable internet sharing on the PC
