is it normal for your arm to hurt days after having general anesthesia?

Update:

i am talking about where they injected the anesthesia. like the hole where it was inserted and the vein that travels up my arm. its been like this since the 17th

    You might have a bit of phlebitis there (inflamation of the vein). If it's red, or warm, or there's swelling or pus, call your surgeon, as you may need treatment with antibiotics for an infection.

    It should feel better soon. Some of the drugs you got could have irritated the vein, especially if a small IV was used.

    You were probably lying on the table in some position that compressed your arm. It will go away.

    You should talk to your doctor about this. Just notify him or her that your having this issue..could even just call them up and tell them your having this problem..and see what they say.

    if you had surgery on your arm... yes. they tore through muscle and nerve, and it is going to hurt for a while.
