    Verbs are conjugated; nouns and adjectives are declied.

    You conjugate a verb. In the context of a verb, declension refers to the relationship of other words to the verb.

    Conjugate

    eg. in french the manger-to eat

    manger is the infinitive

    je mange, tu manges, il mane, nous mangeons, vous mangez, ils mangent

    the above (je-ils) are the conjugated parts of the verb.
