haha. Where the Red Fern Grows is about a hillbilly boy who grows up in the Ozarks with his family. He saves up money and orders two Red Coon Hounds from the paper and gets them delivered by train. They are puppies, a brother and a sister. He does and goes everywhere with them and even enters the girl dog in a contest because the boy dog is so scruffy. He puts butter on her to make her coat shine! haha. Anyway it's sad at the end because they fight a bear or a wolf (can't remember) and the boy dog dies and then the girl. The boy cries

ADD: (Written just after 'Zoe .. 's summary, though)
...as already briefly stated, the book is mainly about hounds and a young man and his grief when he lost his dogs (or one, and the other followed after losing her mate) (?) to hunting 'too much animal'; when he buried them, red fern grew on that spot.
MORE: I believe the fern is simply a symbol of 'forever' regard for the dogs (ferns are hard to kill in most of their favorite places to grow; cool, misty, shaded) and that's it.
Your red fern is a good thing, I think; the book is a classic with numerous awards, and red fern is a good-looking plant, don't you think?
You can attach your own favorite meaning to it.

Ferns take there colour from the acidity or alkalinity of the soil they are planted in. So this could be because of other plants nearby or the make up of the soil. Sounds unusual yet interesting.

Hiya! I do know where all those solutions are located- within the ebook. Truthfully, simply learn it. I promise it is worth your time. It can be very candy, i am informed. I reading it now. Very best. Just learn the book. You're taking the scan for a cause, and the cause isn't you have to scurry around Y!A for answers to your experiment. The intent is both the instructor ran out of things to do or they desired you to learn some quality literature.

Read the book. Its not necessarily tied with the plant as in the plant will cause things to happen. The book is awesome.

it's just about two dogs that die and they are buried and then the red fern grows.
