I remember the first time I traveled to the US. I'd been sitting in that plane seat for about 10 hours and I felt I was going nuts. There was this guy next to me and I asked him "Is the US worth seeing? Is the US worth going through this terrible flight??? It better be because I feel this is the most difficult thing I've ever done in my life!!!". The guy smiled back at me and said nothing. I was so darn frustrated and his smile made me feel even worse, made me feel as if there was nothing interesting for me at the end of that terrible journey.
fortunately I was not right...
so I would say that the destination sometimes is worthy in spite of the horrible journey

Oh yes!! All the "spectacles", all the perfumes, the colors, the experiences are on our way. All the lessons and the desire to reach at the end of the road, keep us going. Motivation is strong and life itself. Some times, the journey is of such value, that we almost forget all about the destination. Some other times, even when we never reach our destination, we are so fulfilled and so much wiser because of the journey, that we really do not care about the destination any more.

Literally taken it would maybe depend on where you are going and the route you have chosen.
In life however, we often spend so much time worrying or looking forward to the destination that we ignore the journey completely. I would say from my own experience, when I am mindful of the journey it the destination is almost immaterial and frequently changes before you get there anyhow!

Journey is like life, you are waiting for the unexpected station and the environment, it get cold from hot or hot from cold, in some place it me be a dry spell, or the other it may rain heavily. Journey may be interrupted like life at many places creating anxiety in the mind, due to some accident or damage to the tracks or road. You meet various types of people during your journey, some good and some bad, like you build relationships with many, some of them may even lead to wedlock.
So long as you are traveling, you are living in your own world, real or imaginative.
Look! as soon as you reach your destination, this beautidul feeling ends abruptly and you came back the real you once again.

No, never but the journey is always worth the destination itself. The destination is pretty much the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow :)

The adventure is always better than the actual destination, but there's also that feeling of satisfaction of having completed the journey and made it to where you're trying to go. Peace!

Most of the time, I would say so. Which makes me wonder why I like taking journeys so often...

...it can be a wonderful experience...some years ago, my son, who was 10 at the time, and I took a train trip from the Midwest USA to the East coast...it was great to finally get to where we were going, but on the way, we saw some fascinating scenery and many interesting people...had an especially eye opening experience in Chicago... (not altogether a good one there, but eye opening, nonetheless)

9 times out of 10 yes. Getting there is usually always more fun than 'there' anyways.
