Copper pennies - how can I get the most for them.?

How could I get more for the copper pennies dated before 1982 than the pennies dated after that, the pennies that have more other metals in them? If I just turn them in at the bank I get face value. Is there a way to get more than face value now that copper is worth more.

I'd try either a pawn shop or coin dealer...

But, depending on exactly how old they are, you're not going to get a whole lot.

Well.. you could try pawn shops.. they can tell you more about them.. and maybe even offer you a price or tell you the price that you should ask for them.

And if you are just stuck and don't know what to do.. take them to a Coin counter thing and just cash them in..

depending on how big a place you live in, there should be a Coin Dealer in town. look them up, they're pro's and'll tell you exactly what can be done, if anything.
