    I don't know, but the film "The Eye" isn't japanese, it's Chinese. It has a few different asian languages spoken in it, and I don't remember where it takes place, but there's no Japanese spoken in it.

    it's actually a hong kong movie [not japanese]. that would probably help your search. and by the way, i like the original one way better than the remake.
