where do you go for your pre-ride coffee?
Dunkin? Starbucks? local coffee shop? brew your own? which can now be expanded to where did you purchase the coffee? pre-ground, or whole-bean?
sorry, I'm tired of trying to convert the wallywood purchasers. we'll get 1/100 of them to see the light. thought I'd lighten it up with a pre-ride routine question. maybe tomorrow I'll ask about post-ride brews..
forgot to add: I go to a local roaster with the guys, or brew my own, whole bean from said roaster..

No-one is answering so here you go ... I drink tea at home before/after rides (I find it more thirst quenching) and may stop for coffee (except on hot days, when it's a cold drink for me) half way on a ride if I want a bit of a pick-up. If I have coffee it's usually at a local bakery or cafe where I get whatever is available.

I don't drink coffee, but almost everyone you goes on rides starting in my town stops at the local coffee shop. Usually there are about 20 road bikes lined up outside. On sunday mornings, the town is packed with cyclists starting out for their Sunday ride.

Bring a thermos and travel mug, drinking my 1st cup-o-joe on my way to Ann Arbor. Drink some more in the parking lot wait to go.
I like darker roast but not burnt. I never drink my joe after the ride - too thirsty.
