I got it and regretted it ever since. The DVR is unwieldy and the service sucks. For the past month it's been locking up, and they haven't been able to correct it. In fact the first week it went out we lost it for a couple of days and when the service guy came out (this is after 1.5 hrs on the phone turning the box off and on with no result) he said that the problem wasn't in our house like they said on the phone but at the local Node. He had already been to a couple houses in our neighborhood that week and that the company wasn't going to fix the problem because it was only causing a problem for a few houses. Apparently this got back to ATT because they had someone out the next day. Three weeks later we still have intermittent internet service and the cable box is still hinky.
Once I stop procrastinating I'm going to switch back to Direct Tv which I wish I had never left. The Uverse high speed internet (which when its working really flys) isn't enough to overlook the bad service and DVR.
Hope this helps
