How to recover unsaved work from Adobe Photoshop?
I forgot to save what I was working on and exited out, and now a lot of my work is gone. Is there any way I can recover it?

No, Photoshop doesn't have an auto-save feature. Channel the huge frustration you are experiencing into forming the habit of hitting ctrl+s VERY FREQUENTLY, which will save your file.
While we're on the topic, be sure to save "iterations". Every hour or so, go to File>Save As... and save a new file but with an incrementing number at the end. For example cat.psd -> cat01.psd -> cat02.psd ect.
Even though you saved your work - sometimes your files can get corrupted and you loose everything. Saving iterations allows you to go back to a earlier stage, without having to start over from scratch.
