It is SOOO worth going to a dermatologist. Really, in my opinion none of the over-the-counter stuff work at all. So if your looking for something in a store, that will work, Good Luck!!
P.S. Aveeno foaming cleanser for acne prone skin is good but like i said is not gonna do wonders, it will just help.

well you can go to the dermatologist and he/she will look at your acne and ask you questions and stuff about it and they will find the best acne medication for you but it will be a prescription medicine and they cost a lot my last one was $70 so unless your parents have a bunch of extra money for bumps on your face to dissapear, i suggest that you use clean and clear or any face cleanser but it DOES NOT work over night like they say it does it will take a while.
good luck

i use proactive (sorry, i know, not helpful) but i know that walmart sells something called acne-free that is very similar to proactive. have never used it myself, but if the "no proactive" thing is because of a $$$ problem, this might help.
my sister uses neutrogena and that seems to work well for her.
