Should these (5) Supreme Court Justices be Replaced?
WASHINGTON - The U.S. Supreme Court on Wednesday struck down a state law that allows the execution of people convicted of a raping a child.
In a 5-4 vote, the court said the law allowing the death penalty to be imposed in cases of child rape violates the U.S. Constitution's ban on cruel and unusual punishment.
"The death penalty is not a proportional punishment for the rape of a child," Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote in his majority opinion. His four liberal colleagues joined him, while the four more conservative justices dissented.
These deviants can wreck a life, but they can be spared the death penalty? What do the Supreme Court justices call the rape of a child, worthy of a simple slap on the pecker.
I personally, would burn them (criminal) at the stake. This whole "Cruel and Unusual Punishment" favors the criminal and ignores the victims...
I'll bet if the victim was a grand child of a Supreme Court Judge, the criminal would fry.

Yes they should! I was furious when I read this story in the news, people need to wake up a 'life sentence' is not the answer. Knowing someone that has worked in the prison system that has flat out said to me "The general population that used to 'take care' of the baby rapers in prison are now outnumbered by them, and these freaks admit if let out they will re-offend." YOU CANNOT REHABILITATE A PEDOPHILE. Tell the mother of a 4 month old baby girl here in Mi. that had her child raped he doesn't deserve to die.

Interesting, so they say death penalty is too cruel? How about letting someone rape them? Seems that is the jist of what these judges want. To me there is nothing worse than someone who does that to a child and why should they be allowed to exist.

yes, the courts and law makers in this country are to afraid of the bible toting preachers that may have raped a few themselves.

maybe they were secretly child rapists. Some people are in the closet about these things
