I have the exact same problem and these are the solutions I came up with.

1- I made a fitness goal. I decided I was going to do a certain amount of exercise each morning. Even when you haven't done anything else that day, you have something you've accomplished.

2- Read a book. Don't pick a "chick lit" Gossip girl book either. Go into the novels section and go through all the books writing down the titles you like. Buy a couple and buy them.

3- Make a big collage or art project. Make it an expression of you. It might sound tacky but, it's actually fun. Get messy. Do a mosaic on wine bottle, decoupage (collage on an object) anything.

4- Re-do your room. Get new bedding, repaint your walls, frame your art, put all of your stuff away and organize it. You will feel really accomplished.

5- Volenteer! This sounds really typical and boring but, it will make you feel good, it goes on a resume, you can make friends and it's something worthwhile.

    I hope it helped!

I'm on the same boat as you ):

Some of my friends work, or are busy.

Last summer I volunteered all my time at a local Boys and Girls Club as a junior counselor, but I decided to have a break this year. Now I'm pretty bored lol . . .

But 2 summers ago I rented DVD's every week and watched probably up to 50-100 movies all summer. Maybe movies can occupy you, take bike rides, volunteer, read good books, draw, make a scrapbook, decorate or re-arrange your room, make a collage, take walks, and heck . . . I'm probably sounding crazy for this but . . . study? Psh, ha! I crack myself up :P

Actually, studying and refreshing your brain will do you good for next school year . . . Eh, it's not such a bad idea.

Take lessons on how to quilt, you will love it.

Go over to a hobby show and buy an unpainted Christmas village and paint it for a holiday display.

Do the same for Halloween and Thanksgiving scenes.

Hobby shops have all kinds of wonderful things to put together or make.

    Learn to knit.

    Get a part time job.

Go to the library and read there.

Volunteer for any type of job. Even if it is cleaning up.

Best of all, learn how to cook. You will need to be able to do this someday when you are on your own or when you get married and have children. Check out this link and scroll way down the screen for recipes:

i feel the same way. then when you call one friend they dont call back. and then you hear about everyones fun vaccion stories when you have none. it sucks, but its ok. and finding a job is 2 hard. umm why dont you read, play video games, goggle random things, think of funny sayings, watch tv, movies, walk around at the beach and playing with the sand, go to the park. <3 have fun !

volunteer at the local dog shelter, they need people always! You can walk the dogs or just get them out of their kennels to play.
