I understand exactly what you are saying, and those of us who have been destroyed at the hands of the corrupt and dishonest have a very difficult time maintaining faith in a God that does not have our backs. To help you better understand what the bible says about this remember that Satan is the God of this earth, that it is written that those who are guilty receive their reward now, but will have no reward in heaven, that God does not intervene in this world and won't until the revelation takes place, that we have been sent out as lambs amongst the wolves, and Jesus said true followers will suffer the same fate as he did. Nowhere does it say that followers of Jesus will be rewarded in this lifetime, it says followers will suffer the same persecution as Jesus. Woe to those with child in the last days (leading up to the revelation). Daughter will turn against mother and son against father, people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money and lovers of everything unGodly. All of these things must come to pass before Jesus returns, and once our society reaches a specific pinnacle of unGodlyness Jesus will return, but first the majority must turn away from God and become unbelievers, we are getting closer and closer with every generation. I'm agnostic, but to colaborate with what you're saying...

If you believe in the subconscious, if you believe in an afterlife, then you should also understand a concience, and to be absent of one is a death sentense upon itself. If there is a god, and if so, I assume that would be the punishment, carelessness of the world, the non-understandment of what life is truly meant to be, and the fact of not being able to establish ones self to consciousness. Punishment cannot be determined until they're standing on the alter the day of judgement. Thats just my opinion.

Jesus said there will always be poor. That being said, there will always be those that do evil, treat their brother or sister wrong, hurt others and get away with it. Sometimes we understand, sometimes we do not but this is Gods plans. We should not question Gods plan. Think about the Bible, Esnu was a good son and did right by his father yet, Jacob stole not only his birthright but blessing from their dying father. Was this fair? No, of course not. But it was Gods plan.
