Ebay buyers..I have a question for you.?
If I sell on ebay and have a personal paypal account and do not want to upgrade in order to take credit card payments does this affect my chances of making a sale?
Are buyers discouraged by non-credit card payments with paypal?

that shouldnt effect much at all
for instance most ebay buyers such as myself have paypal linked to my bank account, u will see a "verified" icon next to my name others link there credit cards..so in fact the only buyer u cant have is the guy that will only pay buy putting his credit card number and info in everytime he buys...but those are the most likely to be fraudelent anyways..so the way youre doing it is just fine ;)
i would guess maybe 10 percent of buyers are who u would lose..nothing to really worry about in my opinion

credit card Internet can be stingy, unless you are credit cards only.
Amazon is the same way. So I buy my toys (Cd's and books) from "CD Baby" or alternative book stores that I can use my debit card on. just a note to you lavender I am back up and running you are still in my network If i am no longer in yours you may add again. And hopefully we can get something moving. My computer was stuck by lightning. But we are good today. But Alternative stores I guess can be found for whatever you are looking for.
In answering your question yes non credit card payments are discouraged.. So I simply don't go there because I do not use credit cards for anything and I have never used pay pal
Take care,

No- Paypal is just trying to get you to upgrade. Most people that pay with paypal the money comes directly out of their account so you know you've been paid and say for example (happened to me) Paid over $250.00 for an item. Seller shipped it DSL and I never saw the package and their tracking only showed the guy picking it up- I was immediately reimburssed my money from paypal where the seller was trying to make some deal with me I avoided all of it by using this company. I prefer to pay with paypal its fast easy and convienient and everyone is covered.

No it shouldn't because most people pay with debit cards these days so you will be okay.
