Nightmares about doom and something's missing and will never be the same. I wake up and I can hardly breath!
I know why I have those nightmares. What I need is some help to finding a way to just stop them so I can sleep better. How can I deal with my problems when I’m awake and just rest at night?

I've found that falling asleep is an art. I've learned that if you wanna fall asleep quick and peacefully, calm yourself down. Stop thinking. Get yourself in the zone. You know how a football player will pump himself up before a game. You kinda hafta do that before you sleep. You have to put yourself in another world that's just for sleeping. If you're too conscious in this world you just can't get to sleep peacefully. Think about something that you want to dream about. Then you have something you can fall asleep too. You can't fall asleep to taxes or relationship issues. Also, make sure your life when you're awake is going swell. If you can live a life you enjoy, you'll sleep better.

Perhaps you could purchase a dream catcher, it's a Native American inspired trinket that supposedly captures your nightmares within the netting. I've used one, and I find them quite useful, all you have to do is acquire one and hang somewhere in your bedroom.
