If your password has been changed, most likely all your personal info will have been changed too. In that case asking for help by clicking the "forgot password" link won't do you any good. In case of a hacked account send a mail describing your problem to account-security-help @cc.yahoo-inc.com

Note: please delete the blank space between help and @ which I had to insert because Yahoo can't handle long addresses. If this doesn't help, call Yahoo: 1-408-349-1572, explain to a customer service person what happened. They will ask you to do certain things and then they compare your original info with the changed info.

Hate to tell you this mate, but do you really think someone is going to go to all the trouble of hacking your email account? What would they do that for? Are you famous? Discussing sensitive financial information that the 'hacker' can use? Really the reason is probably more mundane, perhaps the format you entered the birth date in is slightly different, maybe you made a mistake when you entered it... Best bet is to grab a new email address and cut your losses :)

did you enter an alternate e-mail when you registered? if so i think you can get them to send the password to that one... other than that youll have to try to remember the date, or go down the line (starting with 1-1 ending with 12-30) which would take forever

I'm sorry you can't do anything except hacking him back!
