Lets break it down

Song Writing/Better Songs: Nas

Reason- Nas has been out for a while now and even though longevity and career length are not fair in judging a Vs since Talib Kweli was probably in middle school when Nas started rapping, they are legit. Songs like "The World is Yours" and "Nas is Like" back in the day to "Made You Look" and Hip Hop is Dead" in the current decade, Nas takes this aspect for me. Don't get confused though, Talib Kweli writes some really GOOD SONGS like "Get By".

Battles/Beef: Nas (once again)

Reason- I believe that Nas has proven he is not the type of guy you would want to call out. He fired back hard at Jay-Z with the song Ether, though I do believe Jay-Z was the winner of the beef (sometimes I believe it went both ways), Nas still challenged one of the best MC's on earth and a really good battle MC (Jay-Z ripped Mobb Deep in half).

Lyrics/Creativity: Talib Kweli (barely)

Reason: Both are good lyricists, Nas has some good meaning in his lyrics and does not try too hard to rhyme but I believe that Kweli takes this round after hearing songs like "Listen" and "Get By"

Better Voice: Talib Kweli

Reason- This was a hard one for me, Nas has a great voice which is easy to understand, Kweli has the better voice for singing and would do better on a chorus of a song than Nas

Better Flow: Talib Kweli

Reason- Hands down, Kweli wins this one no doubt, Nas has a great flow as well but Kweli has the better delivery in his flow and can do bridges well on his songs.

Who has had more impact on Rap/Hip Hop: Nas (no doubt)

Reason- Nas has influenced ALOT of rappers. Many of the big name rappers that came up were influenced by Nas. Nas is lyrically one of the best rappers alive (along with Eminem in this aspect). Nas has released Illmatic one of the best albums to ever hit Hip Hop, Nas HANDS DOWN WINS THIS ASPECT.

Better Albums: Nas

Reason - Illmatic, that is all I have to say, from top to bottom one of the best rap albums ever released.

Who Is Better?

IMO, By a hair I say Nas is better overall, though throughout the years I believe he is slowly falling off. Hip Hop is Dead was not half as good as God's Son was but I think still Nas is great. Kweli is a good rapper too, he is one of the best New Generation rappers to come out. Nas won't be around for long and eventually he will retire from Rap, so when he does, I expect to Talib Kweli to carry the load and be the rapper that gives the audience some lyrically good songs to listen to.

Nas Wins This For Me, but within the next 5 years, Kweli may pass nas ^_^
