YAY iim the first who knos lol a star rank is hard to get but the way to get them is one star is: get first place in every race for that cup, 2 stars is: Come in first place most of the laps of every race that you must win for that cup, and tree is:Do both one and two while avoiding almost every item thrown at you or dropped (etc.)

I have no idea either, I've tried. I heard you just have to stay on the road and don't bump into anything, drift a lot, do tricks every chance you get, use every shortcut, that's all I can think of.

Edit: I also read somewhere that some guy recommended winning by a lot of points. For example, in the end he had 60 and the closest one had 40 so he got a one star rank. But I don't understand how you can force the computer to not do well you know?

I usually get a star or two stars by being first in all 4 races. It gets really stressful if u keep getting hit by things when ur in 1st and then u place in 12th in a second.

best way to get at least a star:

- get 60 points (1st place in all 4 races)

- stay in 1st place as long as possible

- finish the race as many seconds as possible before whoever got 2nd

- do lots of tricks and boosts

When i get a S or higher i get like far away from 2nd place and try to drift on every turn and get shortcuts. Example - like on yoshi falls dont get any items and take the waterfall part to go ahead
