hotels in phoenix az?

Stay at the Best Western off of the loop 202 and Rural. It is close to downtown but yet far enough away to not have the issues downtown has.

I live in the suburbs of Phoenix. I wouldn't suggest staying in a hotel like that downtown. If you want to stay downtown, the safe places would be like the Hyatt Regency or the Ritz Carlton, or somewhere at the Biltmore. If you would be willing to stay a little bit outside of the city, look into the Buttes (very nice, but business-y) and the Arizona Grand Resort (formerly the Pointe South Mountain) is a lot of fun. Very family oriented though. I would also recommend Scottsdale. There are great hotels there, the best in the Valley, like the Mondrian and the Four Seasons. You could also stay at a cheap hotel in Scottsdale and it would probably be pretty safe, but no guarantees. Just chose wisely and read lots of reviews on http://www.tripadvisor.com/ and http://www.hotels.com/ because crime definitely exists in Phoenix. Our worst is auto theft!

Phoenix sucks! Its hot and full of crime.

Stay away from airport and downtown and West side.

2300 E Block on Highland Ave is the Highland Hotel. In Biltmore area. Good police protection.

Watch out for people on cell phones when driving.

Watch out for illegal drivers.

Phoenix people have no respect for rules, laws and the sun frys their brain.

I carry a 9mm since moving here in 2001.

Have put 15 people in jail at gun point.

Very heavy drug town. Very HIGH crime!

There is a comfort inn. It is nice but still afforadable. It is in a nice place. Arizona is awesome.

stay out of down town phx.its best to stay in north phx way less crime

Well theres this one by the freeway(forgot the name)..i suggest you dont go to that one unless you want to be surrounded by prostitutes and aids.
