Filipinos, is being loner a taboo or is your culture naturally attention-seeker?

I live in the Philippines as a foreigner and would suggest to you that most Filipinos grow up in larger families usually uncles, aunts and their children are nearby. Buses are crowded, a tricycle can carry 7, 8, 9 - if there are children :))
As a result there is no fear for the presence of other people, no reservation to offer hospitality, no limit to open friendship and I suggest that not that many people are loners because they all have friends and family for socialising and support.
Perhaps other cultures could still learn from the way the Filipinos live with and treat their friends and family.
I, for one, prefer it here. To be with friends seems to be better then to be alone in a condo in Switzerland ... =))
How would you think that Filipinos are attention-seekers? I suggest to you that there are no more attention seekers in Philippines then in any other country ...

filipinos are generally very sociable people. If they like you, theres nothing they wont do for you. If your coming to visit them, they'll cook like you're royalty. In pinoy culture, not feeding guests, even if they're very close friends is an embarasment to them. Filipinos are most likely the most generous people on earth. Its a VERY hospitable culture. BUT, if you make them angry, you have an enemy for LIFE!! Filipinos can hold a grudge like no one else.
