i have a laptop and wireless internet for my desktop how do i get the internet for my laptop?

the laptop is SOOO old i don't know if it even has the hardwear to match

i use an ethernet cable for my desktop from netgear

i need to know how to get the wireless internet from my desktop to my dell ispiron 8000 PLZ PLZ PLZ make it simple

    The dell inspiron 8000 is not that old. It has usb port and PCMCIA slot. You can use both USB wireless adaptor or a PCMCIA wireless card. PCMCIA is better. The link is one of the brand.

    It should have the ethernet cable too.

    Otherwise, you can buy a Belkin or Netgear USB Wi-Fi Adapter, so it will have wireless.
