In UK, what's the cost of a gallon/liter(?) of gasoline?

Don't know about your measurements, but trying to get an average price.

thanks, if you know....

Approx. $7 per gallon in certain parts of England, that's including all the conversions from liters to gallons and British pounds to US dollars, which may seem even more outrageous to us Americans because of capitalist lifestyle.

I'm from the UK, and I moved to the US (New Hampshire) in April. I pay around $2.80 for a gallon of premium unleaded. Be aware though that a US gallon is different to a UK gallon, so you'll have to do the math for a true comparison. Edited to reply to your additional question: 1 UK gallon = 1.2 US liquid gallons. Rex B: You'd think so right? But unfortunately they tax the hell out of us for everything over there in Britain. It's far cheaper to live here in NH, but I do miss the security blanket of the National Health Service. It may not be perfect, but at least it's there.
