Aske001 answered: I looked at them. They said "designed in Germany, made in China". They're much lighter than they look, and the construction appears cheap. The brand name "Braxton" can't be found anywhere on the net. It's possible to get really cheap crappy speakers for just a couple of $ that look like the ones mounted in these boxes. Enough

If they're the ones on the xscargo site, they sell them for $74.88 a pair, model E1004. You don't get tower speakers that are good for that price level.
