Is Bio-Spot flea/tick control a good product?

I've searched Y! Answers and I'm getting mixed results.

Some answers that I am seeing say that it's a very dangerous product.

Others say that it worked well and was a cheap replacement for something more costly.

I have a Wheaton terrier mix who is about 80-100 pounds:

And a 120 pound Pointer mix:

(closest pic, image this one, just 110 pounds heavier): http://www.gotpetsonline.com/pictures-gallery/dog-...

Is bio-spot good for my family?

Update:

I have always used frontline, but I was just wondering if its ok to switch

It is poisonous garbage. As a matter of fact, Hartz and Sargents are two product names you will never, ever find in my home.

I use Advantage and love it. If you live in an are that has ticks, too, then Frontline Plus is probably the product for you.

    Good luck!

    Use Frontline or Advantage.

Bio-Spot is complete crap. Use Frontline. Bio-Spot has been known to cause seizures.

be careful:you can try it, but be ready, if your dog starts itching, rubbing himself against the floor, running up and down:wash him immediately, with shampoo, rinse well!

I tried it once, my dog went crazy!

I rather pay more money, buy the ones from the vet!

My dog never had a reaction to flea drops from the vet(Advantage)
