Computer freezes, windows wont start?
Sometimes when I'm on the internet the computer completely freezes, so I need to restart. Whenever I restart, the computer doesnt start up correctly(screen is blank) so I have to shut it down completely.
After I've done that it loads up, but once the Windows XP screen shows it, it freezes and restarts. Restarts, get to safe mode screen, and select start computer normally or whatever. Do that and the computer works fine then for about 5 minutes until exactly the same thing happens again.
Anyone know what could be causing it?
I've already formatted/reinstalled XP twice

I found my problem by opening Task Manager, going to the Processes tab, opening IE, and looking at what program maxed out the CPU...

Have you put any new devices into your system lately? It sounds like there maybe an IRQ conflict with your video card. Control panel / system / hardware / device manager. Check the resources for the devices you have installed. You may need to move one of the cards to a different slot on the motherboard.
