We will be Chicago this weekend. What is there to do there on the Fourth of July weekend?

well u have navy pier... and the fireworks.. and the nice boat tours on the lake ... soo cool and the taste.. and u got the ribfest in naperville... hope u have fun!!

Skip Navy Pier and Taste of Chicago. Too crowded and you'll be smashed like a sardine. Go up to Evanston, Ill. (you can get there on a CTA train). They have an all day fourth of july celebration with a parade and fireworks, etc. Evanston also has some cool bars and restaurants, and a decent movie theater if you need to kill time. Their parade is sort of cool and old school, with marching bands and politicians riding in the back of convertibles.

That is the last weekend for The Taste of Chicago. I'd go there one of those days.

Navy Pier has fireworks and a few other things planned.

Also they have those dinner cruises.. on the pier those are exciting. Many bars..
