Why did Jesus tell Christians to NOT call ANYONE their *leader* except him?

Do you think he means religious leaders or political leaders?

Update:

Matthew 23:8 But you, do not you be called Rabbi, for ONE is your teacher, whereas ALL of you are brothers.

10)Neither be called 'leaders,' for your Leader is ONE, the Christ.

    Because Yeshua/Christ is our "leader."

The churches have decieved you. Jesus is speaking of God the Father, He is our teacher, Rabbi, master, and Father, we are spirit.

8 But be not ye called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all ye are brethren.

9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

10 Neither be ye called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ. Matt 23:8-10 (KJV)

    He was talking about E.T..

Ha. Okay. He was probably talking about a leader to God, because the Christian God is still jealous.

Which is so highschool-ish to me.
