    Yep, I heard they been busted loading the frame tubes with buck shot to increase profits.

    Want a really scary thought?

    Walmart has placed what they call "PROFESSIONAL" bike shops in some stores. They sell bikes up to the $600 range in 52cm/Small only.

    I guess they promote one of the assembly butchers to the sales floor with an adjustable wrench and a hammer for better customer service.

    I don't know why maybe their company is special so their bike is limited and exquisite so they charge the bike by pound.

    This has to be the best question yet. I agree with you. those lugs are heavy. Now we see why people that ride their bikes never take riding to that next level.

    yea, i think the rate now is about $1 per 5 pounds.
