Mexico is an OPEC nation, this isn't surprising. They also don't have the environmentalist stone-agers (the green nazis who want to send us back to the stone age by opposing all new tech) stopping them from building refineries.

On the other hand, life in Mexico is not as nice as it is in the US. So don't be jealous, look at the whole package. All in all, I'd rather be in the states, wouldn't you?

you have to look at the fact that america uses 20 million barrels a year, mexico dosnt even come close to that. that also may not lower the price that much, gas prices could still rise higher.

    the u.s. congress is what

debt of $10 trillion, $5 gas

    and Countrywide "sweetheart"

    deals that make Judas Iscariot

    look like a fine fellow.

    guess we must forgive them

    because they know not what

    they do.

Goverment subsidies are supported by price controls and taxes. It also helps to have an abundance of natural resources.

They have more oil then they can use, they can subsidize it with the money they get from us when we purchase their oil.
