Traffic Traveling from Westchester to Long Island on 3rd of July?

Question

I will be traveling on July 3rd after work, probably leaving around 6:30 from Westchester new york (Pelham/New Rochelle) to Montauk Long Island.  I was just curious on how bad will traffic be at this time?  I must cross the Throgs neck or Whitestone Bridge, must get on the Cross Island Pkway and the Long Island Express Way

It won't be THAT bad driving on the LIE...and actually may be pretty fast considering most jobs will let out their employees early on Thursday to avoid the "rush".  Once you have to get out to the Sunrise Highway (NY 27), it will be a whole other story!

Traffic to the Hamptons is bad enough to begin with on any summer weekend since it's only one major road (27..and to an extent County Route 39) to really contend with.  Add the fact that it's a holiday weekend, you WILL be in a "parking lot", especially the fact that you have to go to "The End".  Even by the time you're out there....around 8:30 - 9PM, it still will be rough goings.

Good luck! Bring food and water! Hamptons-bound traffic on Montauk Highway is deadly on an ordinary weekend, completely bonkers on the night of a 3-day holiday weekend.

properly.... i'd turn the song on.. very loud.. a number of my ordinary songs.. repeat it.. not in any respect lose interest of it. i visit basically invent a sparkling microwave the position it pops up the food from someplace and it really is alllll achieved! :D (secret agent children movie - have you ever considered that movie?) x
