No disrespect to David Tennant (who may well survive this regeneration), but he'll have to go sometime. My nominations would be:

2) Gerard Butler.
3) Jack Dee.
4) Martin Freeman (yes, I'll second that).
5) Kenneth Branagh.
David Tennant still has my heart captured at the moment, but once he's gone through one too many regenerations and moves on to other things, any of those would put a smile on my face. I think each and every one of them has the potential to take the show in an entirely new, yet entirely fascinating direction.
