can an HDMI cable go bad?
I just recently started hearing a lot of almost like static when I play my PS3. Mailny like on explosions and stuff like that. However if I turn off the PS3 and watch just tv it makes no such sound. So can an hdmi cable go bad or not

Eventually all things go bad. Try another cable or try returning the one you have.

yea ur hdmi cable probably has gone bad, id not use it cuz it could cause damage to ur ps3 or tv maybe both. id recomend u get a new hdmi cable or just play with the regular red white and yellow cables.

Yes an HDMI cable can go bad.If you still have the receipt you should return it.
