D'antoni already wants to trade David Lee?

Its just because he doesn't like using big men isn't it? He probably will be traded. What do you think?

Update:

I would never take Marbury and lee for barbosa and diaw.

Update 2:

i agree he isnt much of a difference maker but maybe thats just the knicks because he is 3rd to curry and randolph.

He isn't a difference maker. I personally like him but his game is limited.

There is no mention of a Knicks Kings trade anywhere, it was made up.

D'antoni wants to trade lee because lee's agent is going to command a max level contract next year. So they want to get something for him now. He is a piece to a championship plan but the Knicks are far away from that.

I hate to see him go but if he can get us a good young player and maybe force a team to take another bad contract (take your pick we have all too many) it might work out.

All eyes in NY are on the 2010 free agent class, lets just hope giving up on Lee and others won't bite us in the a$$

No, every team would like a David Lee and if he trades David Lee it is because he is looking for another guard. i think a Barbosa/ Diaw for Lee/Starbury trade is worth it.

  • The Kings would love to have him.

But he'll probably be packaged with another player. Maybe we can trade Artest for him and someone else that has a contract worth 6 million.

Yes, the trade was just completed a few min. ago. The Knicks traded David Lee, Eddy Curry, and Nate Robinson to the Sacramento Kings for future 2009 1st rounder, cash, Brad Miller. It is on espn.

Yeah maybe they can get LeBron in Return the Knicks need to be stronger then they are now.

Randolph-Miller front court would be sick...if it happened.
