why are there grey boxes with faces instead of avatars?

Read the 360* Blog, or Y!A's blog... that "generic avatar"

is part of their"Yahoo!Answers 7" "PROFILE PAGE" innovation. We are supposed to put our photo there.

Uh-huh... Like (in my case) THAT'LL happen!

Actually, I like it BETTER than that "shadow of some guy".

I'm able to see your normal Ideas at your finger tips avatar. But I am seeing a lot of smiley gray boxes. Also, some of the avatars I am seeing are old ones that have been replaced recently.

Had that problem here too Demo...

Minnie's avatar has been appearing on someone else's Q, then disappearing when you click the Q link, star buttons don't work and not getting e-mails about contacts Q's =/

I think the people of Yahoo got together on one of their coffee breaks and decided to gang up on us for making them work.

They've stolen some people's avatars, some people's stars and e mails off others. If you've lost all thee. They really do not like you :-p

I'm not sure. I've seen those around as well, but when I refresh I see the avatars again.

Once you have created it, you have to click save. Then it should show instead of the gray box.

I think its the grey army invasion x
