How do you ween a dog from an owner slowly?

I have a dog that has been with me at least 90% of the week for the dogs whole life she never leaves my side. I am expecting to graduate soon and begin working full time with possible several day business trips I am wanting the dog to become more with the rest of my four other dogs I don't know what to do to ease her adjustment.

Weaning is always done a bit at a time. Make a calendar of the days till the job/business trips, and how much you will leave the dog each day. Make each day a half hour longer that you are absent. (or if you need to do it faster, and hour a day longer.)

And stick to it!! You will also be WEANING yourself away from the animal!! Did you consider that??

You will have to be very strict with yourself. And also give the dog treats after the absence, but not every time, just now and then. Doggie needs to know that being with the other dogs instead of you is fine and dandy. You can do this.

Dogs can't remember much, after a few days, maybe a week or so, she'll forget you left.
