She'll never learn the value of hard work until she does it. I say you get her some job applications for her birthday....the free ride is over. :)

The Cats human thinks that The Cat and your daughter both need to look for jobs. Lazy lima beans anyway! This is not a free ride! Pull your weight! I'll bet she even has her own room, just like The Cat, right? spoiled little brats, they need to be taught responsibility and the value of a dollar and a gallon of gas. : )

What are you talking about?! Mine had her first job as soon as she could walk, she just turned 4 and now she's working 2 jobs to pay for the new car she's buying me for Christmas

Well if she's photogenic maybe she could earn her keep, but come on let her be a kid a little while longer. I bet your parents thought the same thing about you.

No.
You should take her to the zoo for her birthday though. My nephew is 4 and absolutely loves the zoo! He also loves indoor play centers like arcades with roller coasters.

My 7 year old is already working, she is my personal assistant, I put her to work when she was 3, she threw a fit, but I don't know for how long she thought I was going to be doing everything for her lol!

4? Haha. lol. Have her audtion for commercials or something. Maybe a newspaper route or lawn mower in your neighberhood. There are also lemonade stand vendors and dog walkers needed in that age group...

It's about time she started bringing some money into the house, paying her own way!
Teach her that there's no such thing as a free lunch anymore, it's time she grew up!
