We live in the SE and have a problem with those yellow deer flies. They are prolific this year and a real nuisance. Anyone know how to control them around the house and/or our persons? Thanks for your help. :o)

I'm here in the Florida Panhandle and we have the same problem..I use the product on the link below.

Ace Hardware handles this stuff... For yellow flies though they are attracted to black instead of yellow like whiteflies are.. what we do all over Florida is simply go to a toy store and buy a couple of cheap beach balls...blow them up and hang from a string off of a pole or tree and spray paint them gloss black with the cheap 1.00 aerosol paint..let it dry them spray this product all over the ball hanging whereever your problem is..it stays tack y through sun and rain..the yellow flies attract to the black ball and land on it, then they are stuck..there is not a chemical known to get rid of the yellow flies, nor is this a total cure, but is a preventitive..It works well..I have them stuck all over my ..uhh ..errr balls hanging up.
