What do you do if someone gives you a really embarrassing gift?

I am assuming this was an anniversary gift ................. well you are going to have to get over it ............ give it time and let it disappear failing that just be honest and tell the person.

Very little embarrasses me.I would be delighted that someone has been so thoughtful as to buy something really expensive .

If it´s someone close you can always tell them that you find "it" embarrassing.

It will cause more problems if you don´t own up and explain how you feel sooner rather than later.

I´m betting it´s a significant piece of jewellery that you find a bit too flash. Put it on...you´ll soon get used to it and it will remind you of someone special.

Splash a bit of red paint on it and say you got mugged by anti fur trade protestors.

Congrats! :) I haven't received one. I personally would prefer if somebody told me they didn't like a gift cause otherwise I've wasted my money. Just say I appreciate the thought you put into this but it's not something I'd use and I don't want you to waste your money.

I've learned that in really embarassing situations, the best thing to do is just be lighthearted.

If she gave you a sex toy or something just say "Well, I'm sure this will come in handy!"
