connected routers?

i have a dsl router with a 4 port ethernet switch on it and another netgear (wired) router after that along with a wifi router after that. for some reason when i unplug the netgear router from and hold the reset switch it will get the ip address of the modem/router and keep it the same, instead of change it from 192.168.1.X to 192.168.0.X. that's not a huge problem but the router after that doesn't do that and changes it to 192.168.10.X. i need them all to be 192.168.1.X for some file transferring issues and programs that cant find other computers. how can i fix this? also why does the netgear router do that after its restarted and reset? thanks!

you can actually set the IP range from each router. set the gateway IP from the very first router and make sure that each router looks at that for the gateway.

Having too many routers connected to each other would cause a lot of traffic between the routers.
