It depends on what you consider "Cheap". One of the least expensive options that's highly rated and centrally located near Piazza Navona is this place at 90 euro per night: http://en.venere.com/hotels_rome/navona/hotel_dell...

There are several options in about the same price range in the Colosseo area as well. If you're looking for something less expensive than that, there are a number of options in the Roma Termini area - it's further from the attractions, but still within walking distance and it's well connected by bus and metro routes.

You can use the Venere site to see all the other options available. It's showing over 400 hotels with available rooms next weekend. http://en.venere.com/hotels_rome/ You can narrow the search down to the more centrally located areas using the map feature. Select a district and you can sort on all the available places by price.

Conley has the answer. Venere.com or hotels.com are among the best. If you want something real inexpensive go to

    www.pensioni.roma
