What can I do?
At least 2 of my checks have had missing hours. I gave them to my boss to fix 2 months ago, he barely sent them last week. I was missing over 20 hours. Should I wait until he gets a call back or should I call the Better Business Bureau?
i work at Denny's. there is no hr. it's the worst Denny's you could ever go to. It's the one in Port Hueneme. It's so ghetto that they have to go to the 99 cent store when they run out of food or soda. there's things on the menu that we don't even serve anymore. The owners are A**HOLES they don't hire anyone full time so they don't have to pay for benefits.

How big of a busines is this? Is the boss the top of the chain? Is there an HR department? I'd go there before gong to the BBB.
If there is no HR division, I would go to your boss and explain that you are concerned youo have not been paid for those hours. Ask by which date you can expect payment, and then follow up if you are not paid on that date. Document everything, every conversation.
Everyone deserves to be paid for the work they do. If your boss doens't understnad that, it's time to find a new boss.

talk to your boss if he doesn't correct it go to the state dept of labor and industry
