I was much younger with mine but if you trust her Doctor and see nothing against his record with the AMA...There should be no problem. If it were really dangerous for her, most Doctors won't take the chance.Mine was no problems, no pain. In my early 50's at the time.

i'm a actual therapist and my dad merely had it carried out. very final effects in lots of situations is discomfort loose with rather prevalent activity for many. the prospect is the comparable for any surgical technique. In well being facility is in lots of situations 3-4 days. Then sub acute rehab for a pair of week or so. Then perchance some outpatient PT. You get extra suitable daily. restoration time relies upon on the age and well being of the affected person. a pair of month for many. PT could be uncomfortable when you consider which you could desire to stretch the knee. My dad had cool discomfort implants for the duration of surgical technique so he had particularly no discomfort for the 1st 4 days. uncertain approximately value-coverage paid for it. He paid for a wheelchair van to hold him to the rehab unit (60 funds).

infection, blood loss requiring transfusion, blood clot - which could cause death if it travels and causes pulmonary embolism. They use a device to move the leg by itself to prevent this. also, the techniques are very good now, so very little of these things happen, but they are risks. also, because of her age, her other health issues may be a factor. it really depends on her - every surgery is different. good luck.
