Unfortunately, it's hard for me to give you an accurate answer because I'm not sure exactly what context that abbreviation appeared. Off the top of my head, I really can't think of any MSN specific context in which the abbreviation "CV" would be used to refer to a proprietary term or item.

Could mean copy paste, from ctrl c *copy* ctrl v *paste*. That's what I use it for.
