I have a 1994 sentra. Maybe a bad ignition switch what do you nissan techs think?

Just replaced starter because it was rolling over slow. I have checked all electrical connections. When I turn the key some times it will do nothing, but when I turn the key back to the original start postion and try it again it will start just fine. I checked the electrical plug where it connects to the starter seems to be ok unless it needs cleaned. I think maybe it is the ignition switch starting to act up. What do you all think

It is old enough to need an electrical part of the ignition switch. Automatic or manual? Some time the clutch switch grommet wears out or the switch it self fails how about the starter relay on automatic cars. Details details please.
