How do i get people from other countries to quit sending me e-mails about winning lotteries and loans etc,?

They tell me I have won Lotteries that I haven't even entered and also tell me I have inheritances and I have no people in that country that would leave me anything. I know they are all scams but how do i go about getting it to stop. I have e-mailed them and asked them to stop but they won't.

You are merely verifying your email address, which they then pass on to other scammers... Also, anytime you use your email address online, you ipen yourself up to even more scams... You can turn on your full headers and email a copy to their provider... http://www.abuse.net/ will tell you who it is if it's not a common one such as abuse@yahoo.com, etc... If you're curious on which scammer you're dealing with, http://www.nextwebsecurity.com/LocationTools.asp is great for looking them up... AND reporting them!

Looking like it's fraudulent? Did you even enter a lottery? Hopefully, you have not responded to any of those emails with any personal information or bank or credit card details. If you have, call your bank immediately. If you gave out any credit card information, be sure to cancel that card. Yes... it's a scam! There is no such think as a Yahoo! Lottery, nor are there any internet lotteries of any kind.

There is nothing you can do, except to irritate them right back. When I get some piece of stupidity that I have won something (like a million dollars) even though I 've never entered into any contest, I keep their e mail address, and send them all my junk mail from all other senders.

Do you have a good spam fighter to filter your email for you? It might also be that you have spyware on your hard drive. There are a number of options you could choose from to solve this problem, check out the http://www.computerpestremover.net/ blog, there is a list of security providers that allow you to download trial software, some even offer free anti-spyware programs.

Don't bother answering these types of unwanted messages, it will only make things worse.

    Good luck with this.
