are you as tired as i am reading about the needless stabbing of youths?
every day i read in the paper about another knife carrying thug who has just been stabbed or caused another youth to be stabbed or killed.
these youths who think that its brave and clever to carry a knife around with them and threaten other people are not clever and when will they realise that what goes around comes around.
my question is
if you saw a fight on the street with knifes would you try to deflame the situation or just ignore it?

i would report it by calling the cops. i wouldn't get in the middle of it and get myself stabbed and killed. that is the job for the police. however, if these people choose to hang out like that and act tough and have weapons, they should expect to get stabbed. i don't feel sorry for them. that is their choice.

Hey hang on a minute - i have the basic right to defend myself. I SHOULD be able to carry a blade. The police are a joke anyway on this subject.

Do not get involved. You hear of many people who try deflame such situations end up being the victim themselves.

if it were two gang members going at each outher, i would just walk away and let them get on with it. why would i risk being stabbed to save a hopless moronic piece of **** gang member??? you choose to join gangs and carry a knife!! then you ask for every thing you get.

As a mother of 4 children they need me so I am afraid that I would not interfere - however I would ring the police and tell them that guns were involved!
The police usually react to guns!
My nephew was mugged Friday night in London, he is still waiting for the police to come round - in fact they asked him to come to the station!

I'm guessing you are from England where it is illegal for law abiding citizens to own a gun. So, it is harder for the criminals to get guns, too. Then they just go to knives. Next thing your government will outlaw kitchen knives and you will need to grind up your meat in order to eat it.

I would walk rapidly in the opposite direction. Sorry to say but my attitude is becoming, one less piece of scum on the streets.

I'd be too scared to intervene but I think I would try. It's good that it's in the papers and on TV because it needs to be sorted out and soon. We can't afford another stabbing and another family to be grieving.
