Mexico Joe'sStillwater OK?
Any one know the recipe for Mexico Joe's Rice? Restaurant in Stillwater Oklahoma.
Bandit sorry you didn't like the Mexican you had here! I've had some pretty sorry Mexican food too. But there are a few that are pretty good....
Mexico Joe's is not tomato based. It has a slight Margarita wang to it and has a Saffron tint to the color. They add some sweet corn to it too. Another restaurant in Tulsa serves a rice very similar.
But would love to see your mom's recipe!

You are kidding, right ? The last "Mexican Food" I had in Oklahoma wasn't worth repeating. LOL (Southern California Boy) Who said sour cream went with anything except potatoes ?
If you want to give me a day or two, I can get my mother-in-law to write hers down and give you some of the best rice you ever ate.
It's good with frijoles, pollo, carne, etc.
