Looking for an all inclusive Honeymoon location in Jamaica...?

Possibly RIU, Couples, or Sandals.

All inclusive meaning: food, drinks, transfer from/to airport, etc.

Where did you go? Who/What did you book through? Estimated cost for a 4 day/3night or 5 day/4 night honeymoon package?

Air Jamaica reviews?

    Hi there,

Prices all depend on when you are traveling.

All-inclusive can mean different things at different resorts. At Sandals for instance it is:

Round trip airport transfers from Montego Bay International to the resort

All tips, gratuities and hotel taxes once you arrive at the resort

All meals, anytime snacks and fine dining of your choice at three resorts.

Unlimited premium drinks, liquors and Beringer Wines.

Unlimited use of non-motorized water sports: Canoes/Kayaks, Sailboats, Windsurfing, Hydrobikes, Snorkeling & Scuba-diving

Unlimited on land activities: Table Tennis, Shuffleboard, Outdoor Chess, Day/Night Tennis, Fitness Center, Board Games, Beach Volleyball, Billiards & XBOX Game Oasis Center at Beaches

    Nightly Entertainment and Themed Events

Golf at Sandals Golf and Country Club (cart, caddy and clubs additional) Ocho Rios

There are a lot of choices for all-inclusives in Jamaica. It's good to find a Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) that is a Destination Specialist (DS) for the Caribbean. They will be able to give you expert advise and have first hand knowledge about the destination and the resorts.

As far as the airlines go....I don't think one is any better than the other. As long as they get you there in a reasonable time to which you were supose to arrive, your luggage gets there...then it's a good flight. Flying certainly isn't the reason to travel, it's the destination.

Good luck with your honeymoon choice.

I would say Couples.. RIU has many families there.. Nice but not my choice for a romantic honeymoon..

Couples includes transport to and from the airport.. The food gets rave reviews, and the facilities gets great reviews as well.. Couples Swept Away has the larger fitness facilities, and a great location on 7 mile beach. Couples Negril is on Bloody Bay, which is beautiful and more secluded than CSA.. The ones in Ocho Rio's are nice too, but one is closed for renovations and I'm not sure when it's due to reopen.. Check out the Couples site as they have a message board for more information..

The Sandals Resorts are nice, but I was bored there. If I was to choose a Sandals it would probably be the newer one in Whitehouse.

Not sure on the price for Couples but definitely check with different travel agents.

Air Jamaica reviews have been awful since it changed ownership from Butch Stewart (the owner of Sandals) to the Jamaican Government.. I used to love AJ, but they stopped flying out of Boston (sigh).

    Congratulations and Good Luck!
